The Amsterdam Metropolitan Area, one of north-western Europe’s most diverse destinations for river and sea cruises, has been portrayed in a new promotional film, produced this summer. Amsterdam Cruise Port (ACP) teamed up with its partners for the production of the short and powerful film.
Behind the two-minute promotional film, created especially for the cruise industry and its clients, is a strong team that has invested all its passion, energy and enthusiasm in the project. Amsterdam and beyond highlights the attraction and diversity of the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. With its great mix of culture, world-class museums, fashion, history and shopping facilities, the region is a highly attractive cruise destination.
Partnership with the region
The aim of the Amsterdam Cruise Port is to unite and promote the Amsterdam Area as a highly attractive cruise destination, with particular focus on the sea, river and motor charter cruise sectors. More than 80 locations in the Amsterdam Area are portrayed in the new film.
One of the region’s river cruise destinations is Lelystad. “The partnership with Amsterdam Cruise Port is very important for Lelystad,” says Ed Rentenaar, Lelystad alderman. “With its recent developments of facilities in the harbour, the city offers additional opportunities to the cruise industry. With a mix of wild nature, modern architecture and story’s about the new land the area adds diversity to the Amsterdam Region. Therefore, I am proud that we are one of the partners of Amsterdam Cruise Port.”
In addition to the main film, nine destination movies have been produced. The Lelystad film and films about other destinations are available at the ACP website.
